We had the inside door handles replaced under warranty when we bought this car second hand, they were covered under warranty, but now, 3 years and almost 60,000 miles later, the chrome is starting to peel off them again.

I know this isn't a real big deal but it's just annoying because you think you wouldn't cut your self by opening the door, A few months before i crashed my cobalt my drivers door handle peeled off it looked disgusting. But if that was the only problem the cobalt had then i wouldn't have had worried about the steering that caused me to crash!!!

gm cars are cheaply made,

i have, or had silver paint on the door handles for the inside of the car. at first it was only passenger side, but when you pull the handle the paint cuts deep in the skin. Now it is doing it on driver side. easy solution, peel it off so it stops cutting you. looks like crap but wont bleed were others may have bled.
