Cobalt LX V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

The car is a 2005 which I purchased in 2007. About six months into it, went to get in car and it would not start. Replaced battery. All is well for a few months...the car is garage kept and well cared for...went to get in car, car wouldn't start...battery completly dead....replaced battery. I live in rural area, no close neighbors and I am ill. I need to get places like the doctor, or pharmacy. Once again....my battery (which is less than nine months old) is completly drained...dead...kaput. Had diagnostics ran, could not find a problem. Help.

Cobalt 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 53,000 miles

Purchased the vehicle (used) in 2007 at 46,000. No problems until one morning it wouldn't start. Got a boost and proceeded to have battery checked; purchased new battery. Long story short, have purchased 4 new batteries over recent months. Took to Thronton Chevrolet for diagnostic; nothing turned up. Was told needed another new battery. Purchased battery and paid for diagnostic. PROBLEM PERSISTS: IF I DON'T DRIVE VEHICLE FOR A FEW HOURS, HAVE TO GET A BOOST! CAUSES ME TO BE LATE FOR WORK AND GIVES ME A BIG HEADACHE! TAKES MY INSURANCE COMPANY FOREVER TO SEND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE!
