problem #1

Cobalt LS 4.0L

Driving on highway and heard clicking, then engine light came on and engine powered down. mechanic at chevy dealership only would tell me broken piston in cylinder one. and that i would need a new or used engine to replace it. Is this a normal issue for chevys or to do this for this problem. Also to replace the engine is about how much my car is valued so not sure if it is worth putting all that money into it.
