I went to the beach, blinker went out on the way down, i'm assuming. Came home, replaced bulb. No big deal, right? 3 Weeks later, same blinker goes out. Ok..,maybe a bad bulb....Repeat. It's happened so many times now I've lost track. The driving light will still work, the park the blinks will just randomly stop. Not sure if the bulbs or what. The bulbs don't look burnt out when I remove them to change them. Suggestions?

Cobalt LS 2.2L V4

I have had my turning signal light on my drivers side replaced 4 times since July 2005 and my passengerside replaced probably more then 10 times since July 2005 the first serveral times GM replaced it under the warrenty and i am still have the issue and now they will not fix. the problem they told me that when the light bulb when out it was so hot it melted some of the wires in the housing causing it to keep going out so while it was under warrenty appearly they say it wasnt like that so they will not replace the wireing or housing bc they said they didnt notice it til after it was out of warrenty. so now everytime it goes out i still take it to GM so they have record of it and it costs me 13.00-15.00 which isnt that much but when looking at it that tends to add up, and per this there is also other people having the same problem so again this seems to be to be a GM issue not the person who bought this POS car's issue however the last time i took it they put some type of glue/liquid substains on it and hasnt went out since and i think that was last summer in July 2009

it truelly unsafe to go down the high way or any speed limit with 2 young children in the car and hit a bump for the right rear turn signal to stop working.when light assembly gets pulled out the bulb starts flashing.in 5 days i've have the light go out 4 times and almost got rear ended. not safe considering the battery is in the trunk w/ the gas tank
