I bought a 2004 chevy colorado crew cab truck. 4 cylinder for 6000.00 as id.no warranty. test drove it nothin. i did noticed the check engine light was on I went to autozone and 6 codes came up.so the 2 major ones that came up are.p0315.p2610.took it back where I bought it.mechcanic said those codes dont mean nothin. So got mad and left. so got another date to take it in. he wasnt there. which means he doesnt want to work on it. so I wont take it back there. when I start the truck up the lights flicker. just had my heat fixed. climate control switches heater control.298.00. My mechcanic said I have a weird electrical problem.could he fix it.h e gave me a name of place to take it to.said it would probably cost anywhere from 500. To a 1000.00 dollars. since I fixed my heat now the lights dont flicker. now having problems with my battery. had to jump it twice ina week. what do I do with this truck.frustraded.

This is the second time I have had issues like many other reports here. Resisters were replaced by dealer and it worked for 3 weeks then similar issue. Took back and they said it was a wiring harness that needed to be replaced. Started working again so left it alone. Had to have the AC recharged and was working fine until all of a sudden it no longer comes on. Couple of times after driving for 10-15 minutes it will come on and work fine then shuts off. Frustrating when it is one of these 95 degree days and the feel like temp is 105. Wish they could fix this problem once and for all. Guess will have to take it back again.

After reading the other reviews I am extremely frustrated by this problem. I'm somewhat glad I haven't had it fixed, because it will just break again!

Third time for me! Last time got so hot it burnt my wiring harness and connector. I think it should fall in the safety recall category. If that was to heat up and catch fire with an infant or children in the car or anyone for that matter it could be very dangerous.

Real nasty when the temperature is 0 degrees and you have no fan for defroster or heat.

I have had this constant problem since I bought the truck. The blower will only work on high {level 4} or not at all. I have had this truck to the dealer 5 count them 5 times for the same exact problem. The 3rd time when I picked up my truck, I drove 3 blocks, guess what the blower quit working ! The dealer is full of all kinds of excuses, but no solutions. Oh and by the way the dealer is Gwatney Chevrolet in Jacksonville AR. I would highly recommend that you avoid this dealership & save yourself the aggravation.

This issue is exactally as discribed in other complaints. Looks as though there is no recall on this issue even though you can see that there is scorching at the plug which could've contributed to a fire. How many of you had to replace the battery at a low mileage?? I'm sure this had a bit to do with replacing the battery also. Let us all know if GM is taking care of this common problem that is definatly due to poor workmanship.

The second repair lasted just over a year, and has not worked since. Dealer stated additioanl repoairs would be at my expence. I finally gave up.

This is the second time I've had to repair this issue. Because the first time was over two years ago it was no longer under warranty. I can understand once, but twice???!!!! I love my truck and enjoy driving it, however if I didn't need my heater & air conditioner fan, I wouldn't get this fixed. Maybe Chevrolet should refund our money back when it is a repeat problem.

The fan in my 2004 Colorado was making a noise for over a year and the dealer basically said "oh well its a fan". Then, the fan would only work on high and after the dealer said it would cost well over $150 to fix - I looked and found parts and did myself - Over 2 hours poking around, but I fixed it.

I'll never by from GM again
