The window on the driver side went down, but will not come back up. The other side works alright. Checked the switch, it seems to be good. I need help! This has happened before and then it started working again. This time it has not started to work again.

When battery voltage drops (value unknown) the RKE and the inside driver's door power lock doesn't work and the driver's door power window won't work.

After restoring battery to full voltage and seemingly after driving it for a while, disconnect a battery terminal (+or-) cable and short the cables together maybe for an hour, reconnect the disconnected cable and this, if not the first time, will eventually remedy the problem. This has happened numerous times (I forget to unplug the GPS).

The window switch has gone out in my truck three times now, the first two it was still under warranty and of course now that i am just over the miles it go's out again. It seam to be a real problem so i am told, I take good care of my truck and still have had a ton of problems from the window switch three times to the tail lights too many times to count to the rack and pinion going out and taking 2 1/2 weeks to get the part as well as countless other little stuff. I have lost my faith "of many years" in Chevy.

once again it seems this problem only happens during cold weather, brought it to a dealer and they said they could not find the problem as quickly as it happens it ends normally after a couple of weeks. I used to think that maybe some moisture got into a control but i keep my car garaged.
