Brakes lock and grind when the truck is stopped at slow speeds. Steering wheel turns somewhat to one side when this happens. Happens mostly in wet weather but also happens in dry weather. Have taken it to the Chevrolet dealership numerous times and they say nothing is wrong.

2005 Chevrolet Colorado truck has been experiencing the same problems as the GM trucks recalled for brake defects. The brakes on the consumers vehicle grab, lock up and grind.

The braking system in Colorado try to stop and the brakes grab and seem to let go and grab again to stop speed about 30 to 35mph there is problem with the brakes I hit someone.

Rattling noise that appears to be coming from the bed or the frame. Noise is mostly heard in cooler temps/lightly heard when temp reach above 85 degrees//when putting foot on brake; it feels like the brake has some resistance and truck doesn't want to stop.

Contact states: Stepped on brakes and they failed, never slowed down, and crashed into another vehicle. Speed was approximately 30-35 mph in stop and go traffic. This was the first incident of this sort with the vehicle. It had extensive damage to front end with no repairs, is currently in shop awaiting an inspection from GMC within the next 14 days.
