problem #2

Jan 092015

Colorado 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 76,000 miles

Problem started when I was driving on a long trip and felt very nauseous and bad headache. It was so bad I took the truck to a mechanic and he found the crack in the exhaust. He told me it was a common failure on this truck.

I did my own research and did in fact find this is a common problem. let this be a warning to others! Get your vehicles checked. I'm sure GM is very aware of this but I doubt it's worth my time to notify them. They hardly take blame for all the key switch deaths.

Colorado 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,000 miles

The exhaust manifold and catalytic converter are one pics on this vehicle and it cracked prematurely. Seems to be a common problem on these vehicles. Should be recalled since it's dangerous to have raw exhaust emitting from engine that does enter the cab of the truck! It's a very dangerous situation. I got co poisoning from my truck. Be careful because gm tries to cover up this problem.

Update from Oct 5, 2014: After prolonged exposure to the carbon monoxide I know suffer from neurological and brain damage. I lost my career of nearly 20 years and struggle every day. Gm keeps trying to cover this up. I have a lawsuit against GM and they want to blame this on me saying I'm faking. My life has been very difficult since this injury and losing a great career and now trying to live of social security! That really upsets me that this company continues to hurt people and then try to cover it up. I'm planning on reaching out to the media to see if I can spread the word on the dangers of the colorado pick up before it destroys someone else's life.
