My current mileage is 36201. I am out of warranty. Was told I would have to pay diagnostic fee to figure out why display radio is acting up. It has seriously startled me by having the radio turn up volume to the Max while driving by itself. I can't do anything as far as touch, log in, change channels nothing with touch screen. I am not the only one. My uncle has a 2016 chevrolet colorado zr2 4 wheel that is doing the same thing. I have researched online and there are hundreds of people having the same problem. Mine started acting up with a little over 18000 miles. I am a disabled widow and haven't had the time to take vehicle to dealer to fix it. It clearly is a common defect that chevrolet won't make good on.
I called main chevrolet manufacture and they told me there's nothing they can do because my truck is out of warranty. " I'll have to pay diagnostic they said but didn't say they'd pay for it! Something needs to be done about this as I feel it should be part of a lemon law type lawsuit. Having major problems with the transmission as well hard shifting, skip shifting, not going into next gear and hard jolt shifting. There's clearly many people that have this issue as well. With me being disabled this could really cause me to get into an accident and it's not safe for me to drive this vehicle!
It needs to be addressed quickly as possible to avoid injury to myself and others! Please respond abs let me know how quick you can help me fix my vehicle please! I'm afraid to drive it for fear is going to catch on fire or something! I need help now. I can't afford a diagnostic then they'll say it needs to be fixed how much is that going to be? This clearly isn't right. My cousin her impala has the same problem. It has caused me mental issue because the Damn radioo devices to decides to push buttons on its own and blasts my radio to the loudest without notice! It calls people on its own doesn't respond to touch at all. The transmission jerks real hard at times causing me to be concerned about my safety.! I'm afraid to drive it! Chevrolet Corp told me I would have to pay diagnostic for the radio and pay for repair? My uncle chevrolet does same thing, cousins impala same thing!
