This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
I purchased my truck brand new in June of 2018 and had no issues with the AC temperature (fan sound level is another story). Towards the end of Spring 2019 I noticed that the AC was not blowing very cold. I took it to the dealership and they said the truck was out of freon. They did a leak and pressure test and could not find a reason why this happened. So far things have been working well this summer. Guess I will wait and see if I have a problem next Spring.

Purchased certified preowned. Literally 50-miles past CPO warranty expire for b2b, and the AC starts acting up. Blowing cold then hot then warm then turns off. Check charge (fine) compressor working, still no cold air consistently. Have to turn Ac off and on numerous times, acts like it is freezing up, then blows hot, recirculating works and then doesn’t work. Called and visited dealership and they of course offered no solution and that there was a TSB on the issue and they had no solution as they had seen it before and there was no available solution from GM engineering support.
Extremely upset and hoping the GM pushes a recall to repair the issues. Apparently this is a significant problem and I have found several TSBs on the issue with no resolution. Local shop suggested replacement of the Ambient Air temp sensor to see if truck was getting bad input. New sensor, no helps.
