problem #2

Jul 152019

Colorado V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,500 miles

I HAVE THE TRANSMISSION SHUDDER that many Colorado owners have. They changed the torque converter which helped for a couple months. I made a trip up in the mountains and the shudder came back way worse then before. I took it back to dealer and they said they couldn't make it happen. It was doing it when I left the dealer but closed for the day so I couldn't show them. I am mad because they lied. It is obvious when driven. Shakes the whole truck. I will try again tomorrow.

Colorado LT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,200 miles

This problem started at approximately 1200 mi current mileage is 15000. Took to dealer, they flushed transmission and changed the fluid 3 times and within 700 mi, same shuttering problem came back. Notified the dealer right away, they said there was no fix for this issue, yet keep driving it. So a couple months ago I was getting ready for a long trip and called the dealer and said fix it or give me a different truck. It took a full week and they installed a new torque converter. I left the dealer and within 1 mile it started again. Contacted GM and they said take it back to the dealer to be reevaluated, been trying to get into the dealer for two weeks now. WTF. I either want them to buy it back or get me in a new rig that works like new.
