I decided to write this complaint since I am very concerned about my Corvette and the continued issues I am having with the active handling system and the traction control system. The service department has investigated the problem with the active handling system and the traction control system at least three times already. The first time the vehicle was in for maintenance was on June 14th. The technician stated that he ensured all the connectors were tightened, reset the codes and the car was ready. On Friday June 25th I dropped off the vehicle for the 2nd time with the same problem (service active handling system and the traction control system). I was contacted by a john sauder service department representative around 12:30 pm that day who apprised me that my car was ready for pick up after the service was completed. I picked up the car and drove less than 30 miles when the car again went into 'reduced power mode' and the same error codes appeared (service active handling system and the traction control system) this was on June 26th. The car was serviced again on June 27th for the identical issue and returned to me on July 1st. After driving the vehicle for several miles I received the identical messages at 1330 miles. When the car was in for service on June 27th john dauder Chevrolet stated that the problem was identified and that the service department had corrected the issue. The service manager stated that the issue was caused by the personal audio link (pal) installed at the dealership and that removing the pal would eliminate the problem. That was premature. To date, I have driven the car less than 1350 miles. From the time I purchased the vehicle it has been out of service for more than 18 days and has been in the shop for service 13 days not counting the fact that I will drop off the car for service on July 13, 2010 because of the same issue the 4th time.
