Corvette 1LT 6.2L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,200 miles

rattle in v4 mode under light access

The cylinder deactivation "feature" is god-awful in this car, causing it to run so rough that it literally has torn itself apart. Belt tensioners were beaten so hard that they burst their hydraulic dampers. Why does a belt tensioner even NEED a hydraulic damper unless you're anticipating that its going to be hammered on. Rough motor also has eaten the torque converter in less than 10,000mi.
