Corvette Stingray LT3 Z51 6.2L

  • Manual transmission
  • 17,599 miles

2014 car with 17,000 miles - the engine explodes and it cost $18,500 to replace, and GM did nothing.

Dealer said a lifter/spring assembly fell into combustion chamber and destroyed engine. There's a known issue with springs and lifters on 2014, GM has less than acceptable suppliers and/or assembly process.

Dealer was rude and tried to charge $22,000, Cicero NY.

Got them down a few grand, big deal.

The dash is falling apart too.
