Cruze LT 1.4L

In mornings I can feel 'friction' in my steering. I ignored it as I figured it needed lubrication. I received a notice from GM that said they were extending my warranty on my steering due to some people reporting friction in their steering and then the wheel would stick after extended periods of driving straight.

I brought to the dealer. They said that they were going to replace the gear box. The part has been on backorder for 3 weeks now.
