In winter weather, at idle speeds after cold start up, something is rattling or vibrating in the engine compartment. Don't know what that is.

Right before the warranty was up on my Cruze one day it just started running bad and noise from the engine compartment. White smoke from the tailpipe. The first thing came to mind was a blown head gasket. It turned out to be some kind of sensor was bad and had to be replaced. I have always owned a General Motors vehicle and my first real car was a 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. General Motors needs to improve the Cruze, it’s a good running car but overall not dependable. This is the first new Chevrolet car we purchased and had so many problems in the two years we’ve had it.
