Actually I'd had a problem of and on for a long time over a year. I thought it had something to do with the chip in the key. Would put in the key and take it out, turn it around etc and eventually it would work again. But the situation occurred more frequently and took longer to get started. Became an embarrassing and frustrating situation. I finally realized that by giving the key a sharp rap on the side, it would let me turn the key. So finally I tried spraying a bit of WD40 in the keyhole, which has fixed the problem for now. John
