My daylight running headlights are constantly on, other than during the day and in bad weather. Even at night my running lights are on, along with my headlights, but it causes my nighttime beams to be dimmer than they would normally be. Also, because they are always on, I cannot turn on my bright lights at night. I pull the handle back to turn them on and they stay on as long as I apply pressure to the handle, but as soon as I click it into place they go off again. Not only is it an inconvenience to not have my brights on when driving down my dark, curvy, country roads, but if I forget I attempted to turn them on when I shut off the car, they will stay on all night, running my battery dead, leaving me a pleasant surprise in the morning.
