Equinox LX 3.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,000 miles

Headlight assemblies accumulated approximately a quarter gallon of water and bulbs kept burning out for obvious reasons. Chevy asked me for $1,000.00 to fix both with new assemblies. This is not the solution! You need to buy the pair online for about $250.00 and buy some silicone to put around the assembly. Then you need to seal the back where the bulbs go in with a plastic bag and some tape to prevent anything from leaking inside... terrible design.

American cars suck.

Equinox LS 3.4L V6

There has been condensation in the headlights since the day I bought this car used. One side stopped doing it when a headlight was replaced but didn't help the other side.

Every time it rains and/or the car is washed this problem occurs. It does not completely dry out, especially if we have humidity!
