The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. While driving at low speeds, the brake pedal was applied; however, the vehicle stalled and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the fuel pump, camshaft, and battery needed to be replaced. The local dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The failure mileage was 80,000. The VIN was not available.
