problem #2

Dec 172015

Equinox LX 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

My car started shaking and shut off repeatedly. Had to get it towed to Chevy. No comment from them except I need a new battery. That's the third battery since I bought the truck brand new! They gave me no answer for the shaking and shutting down. Looked at me Like I had two heads when I questioned them about it. Very bad experience all around. #mychevysucks!

Equinox LTX 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 26,000 miles

My suv is doing the same as number 7's. Only 26,000 miles. Had to trade my car because of computer issues, now with a newer one. Should give me a new one or comparable. Haven't gotten the results back from dealer yet. I have complained to the gm since I've owned it. Never ran right, mileage is terrible and never knows which gear it wants to be in. To small an engine for this weight. Done with gmc

Update from Jun 29, 2015: Still have same issues with this Equinox; they told me to wait for a light to come. Was told they would extend the warranty but 239 miles over and back latch needs struts replaced. Did offer to pay 1/2 the cost. My cost $275.00. Really? Chevy can stick it!!! I was under the back when it wouldn't stay opened. Had my husband not been there to push the button latch I would have been severely injured because sensor doesn't allow for foreign objects!!! Back door shuts; period.
