Air bag light is on on dashboard. Chevrolet had installed the airbag sensor on the floor under the drivers seat in a work vehicle Chevy 3500 Express. Any moisture causes the sensor to corrode requiring replacement. I have communicated with numerous other owners who have had to pay Chevy $1,000 to move the sensor under the dash. Why would you place a sensitive part on the floor in a vehicle where moisture can easily intrude. This is dangerous and could cause air bag malfunctions.
