We purchased 6 of these seats, of which we intended on using 4 of them in the rear facing position. Attempted to attach with the latch system. After a great deal of time spent going through the owners manual I have been unable to install the seats in the rear position. The first and major concern is that the latch position belt is too short and when it is installed according to the manufactures directions in will squeeze the child in between the position belt and the harness. In my mind, this is a serious safety hazard. I contacted the manufacture and their solution is to cut the position belt. The other concern is that the latch belts are too short also. I tried to install into 2 2008 GM vehicles and due to the construction of the safety seat it requires a great deal of material to level it up. When it is leveled up the latch belts are not long enough to attach to the latch system. The manufacture has not been any help.
