HHR

  • Automatic transmission
  • 106,897 miles

I am a female and I my car is paid for. I could not imagine after paying for my HHR I would encounter so many problems I never had to deal with in any of my other cars. This HHR has been a headache for me every since I purchased it. When I was still paying for it the first mess I had to deal with is the radio going out completely. Radios usually last the life of the car. What car does that? If anything the radio should be the last to go out. After that the cigarette lighter went out, so I could not charge my cell phone while in the car; these things are going on while I am still paying for the car. After I finish paying the car off, now all the recalls begin.. My car was in the shop over a month, and I had to deal with the inconvenience on not having a car. For a person that has been blessed with a car all my life, being without a car for that long is a hindrance. Put yourself in my shoes. Besides all of that I am hit with an outrageous bill that I do not understand. There are other issues with the car also, but as I understand I have to make a new claim for each one, but I will say this I will never purchase another Chevrolet, and I will also pass the word along. My sister is planning on buying a new car and she is playing on getting a Chevrolet, but I will worn her and after that it is her decision if she wants to get stuck as I am. Now, I am in no position to purchase a new car and this HHR is causing nothing but heartache and pain.. And to boot it is causing car notes to get it fixed. By the way I took the car to peters to get the ignition switch replaced, they refused replace it. Peters kept the car for two weeks and did no work on the car at all. When the car was picked up the battery died while Peters did nothing to rectify the situation. That was a slap in the face as it ever was. Needless to say, I have the car now with a bill I do not know how I am going to pay for it being I put it on my credit card. A card I just paid off. Oh this is so horrible I can not explain.
