Sitting at Idle, and have that smell of raw gasoline? Trust me it is bad, and must be fixed. Open your engine hood and on the drivers side look at a little round thing on top of the engine with a hose attached to it. It is called the Fuel Pressure Regulator. If it looks wet in any way... it is GAS!!! ( touch it with your finger and smell your finger)... Now look below where that little item sits... It is exactly where the 2 exactness manifolds meet... Meaning very Hi temperatures, meaning FIRE from GAS.... not good.

Wanna fix it yourself, no problem here is how;

Buy an upper intake manifold gasket.

Remove the Air cleaner, and box assembly, remove the hose connecting the Air box to the "UPPER INTAKE" (remember those words) Disconnect all hoses and such connected to the upper intake.

Remove the 8 bolts (or ? pending on engine) and remove the upper intake from the lower intake manifold. Set aside.

Bleed pressure from fuel rail by pressing in on the lil Tire pressure looking thing. I find it easy by putting a rag against it and then pushing it in. (catches the fuel)

Unbolt the two Torx screws from the clamp, remove the U bracket, and wiggle the regulator back and forth until it comes free.

Re-assemble in reverse order.

* If you remove the throttle body from the upper intake. PLEASE!!! make sure you install the new gasket as it was originally. The gasket looks the same either way.... BUT IT IS NOT!!!! If you start the car after the repair and it sounds like junk, or does not run. Remove the throttle body gasket, turn over and put all back together.
