The key being stuck in the ignition is a real pain, because it is stuck in the acc mode so the radio is still on and gear readings are on and the bell is dinging when the car door is open. I am afraid that the battery will go dead and it happened at a time when I started vacation and launching a new business and financially I am unable to pay for this part which is even more of a pain. Oh and don't have a spare key because the place I purchased the car from only gave me one key and I never got a new one made. I feel that a car that is only 6yrs old should not have these type of problems. I have a 19yr old car and have driven plenty other cars and this is the first time my key has ever got stuck in an ignition. I have a friend who had the same problem with the exact same make and model sounds like a recall to me. I am investigating that before a pay close to 200.00 dollars to just get the part. Oh and not to mention I have disable the battery at not in fear of the battery going bad.
