cd player quit working. Dealer (paradise Chevrolet in Temecula ca.) wants 650.00 for new one. Dealer said could run up to 850.00 or more if its something else I do not remember. We now just listen to FM. ebay has them but you are crap shooting. The ones so far on ebay don't guaranty them. They said things like; when pulled from car it worked great. f-that. Once again GM you suck. look at my many other complaints on same car and other GMs I have owned over 40 years.

I bought this car, with a tape deck radio. The volume knob actually broke with the volume at max, thankfully I spent $1000 on the extended warranty, and they replaced my TAPE DECK. This radio is a monument to everything that is wrong with GM, why did GM ship a 2005 with a TAPE DECK? At first it was no big deal to me because I intended to replace GMs stock radio with a satellite iPod jack radio, but it turns out to replace the radio I have to replace the On Star box or a lot of things such as interior chimes will not work. The box costs like $180!!!!
