When my remote entry quit working I thought it was just the batteries and changed them out. Didn't work. Turns out the receiver under my hood has a short in it, so one time when you go to the car it will unlock, the next time it may not and the remote start does not work at all. A little inconvenient since the cost of having that on the car was definitely not worth just 2 years. Working for the dealership I bought it from was going to save me some money on getting it replaced, but still not worth it! Anyone else having this problem? Have any suggestions?

After replacing the batteries in the fob and it not helping I took the car to the dealership. After griping for awhile they did some research and replaced the key fobs and roof top antennae. Car remote range is is dramatically different!!!
