Impala LT 3.9L

Take over wife 's 2008 impala . Got her a 2014 Altima first none GM car in our family since 1951 . Father worked at Packard Electric for 32 years past away 1989 he said that Packard wouldn't be around and that work and Quality would be bad. So take over impala now no front speakers working along with many other items. But don't recall any thing cause it would be to costly, but lets give 7500.00 dollar bonuses .That's not costly . We bail them out and they say screw the public .

Impala LT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,033 miles

no sound from the front speakers. Took it to the dealership, and they said I needed a new radio! (That will be 430.00 Pls they proposed)... How do I know they know what they are talking about? Could it only be a shorted wire somewhere? Could it be a loose wire? A loose wiring harness? If the radio is bad, Then how come all the functions of the radio works perfectly, but when you "hit" a bump in the road the speakers begin to work again?

Is there a way for me to check if it is something simple? That is terrible if its the radio. The car is only 3 years old, and the radio is bad??? Give me a break somebody!
