Impala LT V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 17,956 miles

IT IS AMAZING TO ME THAT CHEVROLET MANUFACTURES A CAR THAT BOTH THE SIDE DRIVER AIRBAG AND DRIVER SEAT BELT FAIL TO FUNCTION AT 17,958 AND 20150 MILES RESPECTIVELY. AND, THE REMOTE LOCK DOES NOT WORK ON THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE

IT IS EVEN MORE INSULTING THAT CHEVROLET CHARGES YOU A $120.00 FEE TO DIAGNOSIS EACH PROBLEM AND THEN THE REPAIRS ARE ALL OVER $750 EACH.

IT SHOULD BE THE LAW THAT ANY MANUFACTURER HAVE TO COVER THE REPAIR OF AT LEAST ALL SAFETY FEATURES IF A CAR HAS LESS THAN 30K MILES ON IT.

THANK GOD I INHERITED THIS PIECE OF SH*T "AMERICAN MADE" CAR AND WILL BE SELLING IT.

Impala V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 47,000 miles

Had a car accident. Went forward and smashed my head, which caused my fourth and fifth vertebra to be injured. had three spinal blocks and had a lumbar laminotomy. Chevy Impala was totaled when I got hit in the back. The seat belts did not stop me from going forward. I never was notified about the recall of the pre-tensioner on the seat belts.
