Well, I started to hear noises like a whining sound every time I turned on the car and while I was driving so I took in to get checked. He told me it was the steering pump, paid to changed it and still there. Was told to drive it out for the weekend, if you still hear it then bring it back. I had to bring back, changed and bleed it out, once again the noise seemed worse. Took it to another place, once again he checks turning the wheel and pressing on the gas and moving the wheel to eventually the rack and pinion, had to change that and still the noise was there.
Took to another place, had it diagnose, and once again was told it was the pump, changed it and bleed it out, had to come back and change the pump 5 times and still nothing, they even put in dealers pump. Till finally I was told to take it to the dealer, did that and was told through a diagnostic that all they can do was bleed it out (which cost $180) but they can't be to sure if that will work. whhhhhaaatttt?.... but you want me to pay for something that might not work which I already have done about 10 or more times by different mechanic's. So after I told them I already have done that, they go on to say well take it back to the other person and tell them to fix it.
So now I'm back to where I started not knowing be safe. I was lucky that my rack and pinion didn't blow while I was driving with my son in the car because the wheel was so hard that I couldn't even turn it.... hopefully I get answers soon.
