traction control light coming on

While accelerating on a busy state road on the way home from work during rush hour traffic, my 2012 Chevrolet Impala dashboard lights up saying "Service Stabilitrak, Service Traction Control, Reduced engine power"... My car slowly started to cut off and then went in limp mode. I almost got rear ended by a semi-trailer. My life flashed before my eyes.

abs/traction speed sensor wiring harness broken, abs light is on. Makes grinding sound when I turn slightly. For a quick second steering wheel can't move. Been have this problem since last year at this time. Mechanic supposedly found it this last time I took it. I hate this car never mind that I would never buy another Chevy. I was told not to by several people that a Chevy's were crap, well I guess they were right.
