Horn would blow on its own. Informed by mechanic the air bag had a short which caused the horn to blow. There was no warning light regarding the air bag defect. Also, the driver side window has an intermittent electrical problem causing window to be inoperable. Dealer disconnected the air bag to keep horn form blowing, and GM offered to pay for half of the repairs needed to correct the problem.

It is extremely difficult to locate the position of the horn in a panic situation which could result in a vehicle collision. Horn only works with extreme pressure at only two specific spots. Two to five seconds usually occurs before correct horn position can be found.

Upon making a stop the brake pedal became very difficult to depress, causing extended stopping distance and loss of brake effectivness. In addition, the location and the design of the horn makes it difficult in an emergency to locate and depress the horn. Also, due to the shape of the windshield there is a strong reflection of the front section which is very bad during certain daylight conditions.
