if you are having problems with the theft system! here what i did i unhooked the theft system.. an the car has been running like a champ ...

my car would start then die many times or sometimes it would not even start..

so i just unhooked the theft system and bingo.. starts every time.. after u unhook the theft system give it about 10 mins or so an your problem should be fixed.. if u don't know how to unhook the theft system.. let someone that knows what they are doing.. but i Malibu runs perfect now :-)

Malibu LS 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 68,000 miles

Bad crank sensor, causing tachometer to go crazy. Engine would run very rough but settle out for a few miles.
