problem #2

Jun 152007

Malibu 2.4L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 88,000 miles

Had to replace both front wheel bearings.

ding ding ding then the ABS light, and BRAKE light stayed on constant. Brake pedal became hard. Drivers side caliper then became frozen and had to be replaced, or else I would keep burning through drivers side brake pads. The Chevrolet Malibu is good on gas, but otherwise a piece of sh*t.

I've had numerous problems. the abs and brake lights on. i fixed the brakes and rotors. stopping felt kind of hard, and I took it to the brake shop because the car doesn't want to stop, they gave me codes C1286 and C1214 for the traction control and steering sensior Bias malfunction and Sol Valve Relay Contact or Coil CKT Open. and since I bought the car 3 months ago there is this squeaking noise when braking, sounds like on the driver side.
