I've only had this car for 2 months, I bought it and paid cash for it. When I bought it, everything worked, as far as the lights are concerned. Then, I noticed the left rear tail light had water in it, and the brake and tail light had blown. I emptied the water out of it, and replaced the bulbs. After doing this, both tail lights stopped working, but the brake lights would come on...then..like the dam thing has a mind of it's own...the tail lights have started working, and both brake lights are out. The turn signals and flashers work fine. Also, none of the interior lights are working (dome and reading lights on mirror) and the 3rd brake light doesn't work either. The car door locks do not work anymore either. If this is the kind of crap Chevrolet and GM is producing and selling to people, it is no wonder why GM is in trouble. I certainly hope that the products they now produce and sell (2009 and 2010) are better. This one is crap as far as the electrical.
