Malibu 2.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 16,000 miles

On my 2004 Malibu I noticed that the rear-view mirror was loose, though it would still stay in place. In looking at it closely, I noticed a crack in the plastic female portion of the pivot assembly. My local dealer, Courtesy Chevrolet of Kingsport, TN replaced the mirror assembly free of charge even though the calendar warranty had expired on the vehicle. (The mileage portion of the warranty had not yet expired.)
