Well it is the end of winter here and I have an appt with the master mechanic. I am very nervous driving this thing now. Twice I swore my tire had gone flat on the highway. The first time I was alone and thought OH Crap! now I have to change a tire. Well I pulled over and all 4 tires had plenty of air. Took it to the dealer and had them look it over. No resolution. They could not duplicate the trouble. Neither can I but I know it's there.
The next time it happened the car had been in an airport parking lot on some pretty cold days and nights while I was in Cuba. As we left the city to head home my daughter thought I should pull over and check the tires because she was convinced I had a flat. Maybe we should have taken her brand new Saturn. No flat and after about 20 kilometres the noise stopped. The loud noise like a tire that just seperated happens only rarely but it feels like I have a shopping cart with a bad wheel.
If any one has any ideas or suggestions what to look for sure would like to know. Will take the car on the highway and see if the master mechanic feels that woobly feeling in the back or hears the noise when backing up.
Also noticed lately when I am on an small incline when I take my foot of the brake the car will roll backwards very slowly 1 to 2 car lenghts. I expect that from a standard but not an automatic.
Paid 28,000.00 for it Dec 2003 and they will give me 10,000.00 for it today. I still owe 13,000.00. Warranty expires at the end of this year. Can't afford to keep it, can't afford to fix it after the warranty expires.

I spent $840.00 last week getting brakes, flat tire, leak, all kinds of crap for my 50,000 mile check up and now 1 wk to the day - I am spending another $640.00 to get this fixed. This is ridiculous. I traded in my Chevy Blazer that was costing me an arm & a leg and now this - I am ready to leave American made cars way behind! Can't Chevrolet be held responsible for any of this? Don't they care?
