Malibu LS 2.4L

I had my AC recharged in December, 2011. Two weeks later it was not working at all. Since it was January I ignored the problem until two weeks ago. (March, 2012). Living in Florida I am now wishing for my AC. Anyway - the radiator cooling fan had come loose from its track and actually rubbed a hole in one of the AC condenser pipes. I am about to go see if just the pipe can be replaced. Hopefully cheaper than replacing the entire condenser. Why is the fan not BOLTED into the frame of the car?

Malibu LTZ 2.4L

When my 2002 corolla was a total loss, I am like okay the insurance will probably give me a honda or a toyota corolla for rental but that was not the case. They gave me a Chevrolet Malibu for my rental. So I am like, all right let me give the car a try and a chance. It's a wide sedan yes and comfortable, not at the level of a toyota camry and honda accord of course. Well anyways I was driving this vehicle going to where I was intended go nice and dandy until all of the sudden the a/c that I have turned on just started to blow ambient air. And the other strange or odd thing was the coolant temperature was not on the normal range, it was below it and it did it twice. On top of that, when I wanted to put an ice chest in the trunk it couldn't fit due to the clearance of the trunk and the door. I am going to tell you something folks, if you are considering renting a car, check their lot first to see if they have a vehicle that is worth renting like a toyota honda nissan and hyundai because other than that my experience with that malibu was horrible. I don't like that vehicle at all, period. The accord and camry have better engineering than the malibu
