Malibu LTZ 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 74,565 miles

My Car has been in with a reputable dealer to trace and rectify a problem with SVC traction and service light that came on over 15weeks ago.

The car has been in for 10 weeks and still they can't find the problem.!! Does Dueck know anything about Chevy Malibu's....... I don't think so !!

How can they try and sell you a 2017 model Chevy Malibu when they can't fix a 2008 LTZ model !!

I was having problem with my 2008 Chevy Malibu ltz 3.6 v6. ESC light comes on, traction control lights come on when I start the vehicle. Vehicle runs extremely rough like it's not running on all cylinders. Have it at the dealer now who say it's the coil causing it and it will cost $400 to fix.

Got a recall on the ESC and traction control problem and what it will cause. Everything that it says the problem will cause is happening. Will it cause the coil to go bad because of the electrical problems and why isn't the the fix covered. I never heard of the coil going bad unless of a different problem that happens that will cause the coil to go because it can't handle the electrical problem.

I like the car but the problems that are starting to happen now with only 57k on the car is making me think time to trade it and look for a totally different vehicle and stay away from Chevrolet.
