On two occasions, I have turned my car on and my battery light has come on. Since I had just installed a brand new battery and alternator I was confused about these occurrences. I shut my car off and then turned it back on and the light was back off and has been off ever since. I've noticed other warning lights have been flashing on and off randomly as well, but never stay on long enough to get to the mechanic.
