GM Canada advertised that 09 Malibu LTX are equipped with Onstar and will provide monthly diagnostics emails - but, guess what, this doesn't work in Canada - salesman explained all about it - have had vehicle in for service and after 4 months ONSTAR reports that their programming doesn't work for this to function in some areas of Canada - no, I'm not in the far north - I'm in Peterborough and bought my car at Quantrill in Port Hope - yes, ONSTAR works but they can't email a monthly diagnostics report
