The problem is with the outer seat riser on the diver seat. I went to get in my car and the seat riser snapped and the seat rocked all the way to the backseat. I removed the seat to inspect it and found that the outer track that the seat rides on was broken and this is what caused the seat riser to break. With the track broken it was placing too much pressure on the seat riser when I would sit down in the seat. This is obviously a flaw in the part and a recall should be made. I had to drive 25 miles to the dealership with the seat rocking back. I have contacted Chevrolet about the problem because the price to replace the part is outrageous. $658 for the replacement seat riser. Thank you for your time. I hope that the appropriate measures will be taken to resolve this problem.
