problem #3

Monte Carlo 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission

On February 14th 2003 I was involved in an accident where I was hit from behind. The backs of the seats do not lock in place so when hit from behind the seatback also flew forward with me. I feel this problem with the seatbacks made my inujuries worse than what they should have been.

Defective driver's and passenger's seatbacks moved unexpectedly which could cause a loss of vehicle control. Also, a "grunt" noise when making a turn which may indicate a problem with the steering system, but the dealer said it was normal.
