Monte Carlo 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 103,767 miles
The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The battery died and the contact jumpstarted the vehicle. When the vehicle started, there was an explosion that caused the intake manifold to blow its cover. Prior to the contact purchasing the vehicle, a recall was performed relating to NHTSA campaign id number 04V090000 (fuel system, gasoline:delivery). Since the recall repair was previously performed, the dealer would not repair the vehicle for free. The failure mileage was 103,767 and current mileage was 103,983.
