problem #2

Monte Carlo

  • Automatic transmission
  • 82,000 miles

This is a tremendous problem,I was at an affair out in Maryland pitch dark.

Everyone had left the area and my damn car would not start,I had to set there for over 30 min fiddling with the starter and the gas.It finally started but this is a serious problem it happens anywhere in the gas station or any place, anytime.

(reported on)

Monte Carlo 3.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 126,000 miles

I bought this car brand-new in 2001 and haven't had any problems until now. The car will run fine one day, but the next, it takes 3 or 4 turns of the key to crank, the RPM's will go whack when accelerating, and it cuts off. Then, in another week, it'll be fine. We've ran several diagnostics tests even when the car is acting up and it throws NO CODES!! We've taken it to 2 Chevy dealerships and 2 other shops--"replace the fuel pump"--replaced the entire tank and it still does the same thing; "replace the cluster panel"--replaced it and no luck;"replace the fuel filter"--now I'm pissed. Just tell me what is wrong with my car!!!
