: the contact stated while driving at night, the headlights stopped working without any prior warning. The high/low beam dimmer switch was engaged several times. Afterwards the headlights illuminated, but the brightness of the lights weakened while the dimmer switch was engaged. Although the problem persisted, the vehicle was not seen by a dealer.
