Monte Carlo 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,200 miles
I purchased this car in 09/01 it has been a problem ever since. Front end needed to be rebuilt at 1200 miles and then again at 2000 miles. Air conditioner has been a constant problem (I was told I needed to park some place else) the manifold gaskets had to be replaced at 48000 miles and now the wiper switch has gone bad. The front end feels real bad, but they claim there is nothing wrong. Just waiting for the front end to fall out from underneath the car on a hot, rainy, July morning. I'm going back to Ford. Oh yeah forgot, paint went bad 1 year after I bought it. GM says I drove through something.

There is a noise coming from steering wheel when driving. Contacted dealer, and dealer clamied that problem was fixed. But, after a couple of months problem came back. Then, the second time tie rod was replaced. A few weeks later, problem came back.
