problem #4

May 042016

Monte Carlo V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,000 miles

When I take off, the transmission sticks like it's stuck in neutral. Then have to let off the gas and try again. This started off every now and then, now it all the time.

Monte Carlo LS 3.4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 201,000 miles

The transmission in this car shifts really hard all the time now. When taking off from a dead stop it hesitates like it's stuck and then it kicks into gear.

It's super frustrating and I'm sure that I'll be told, "it needs a new transmission for 3 freaking grand". No thanks, I guess I've got to start looking for a new car.
