The side molding on every Chevy Silverado truck that I have ever seen in a champagne/tan color, including mine, looks horrible. There were approximately 30,000 - 40,000 miles on the truck when it started changing colors. The chrome part looks rusty and the painted part on the molding is this faded, greenish color. It makes a really nice truck look awful! I was told that I could get it painted for about $200 or purchase new moldings which I cannot find anywhere unless I get another nice green one at a junk yard. This should have been recalled through Chevy!
